Premiere Performance by Evan Williams and US Army Band!

I’m excited to announce that Evan Williams of the National Symphony Orchestra will be the first to perform my new wind ensemble arrangement of “Varietals.” The concert will take place at the American Trombone Workshop on March 28th. The annual event is hosted by the United States Army Band at Fort Myer, Virginia, and has become one of the most prestigious events in the trombone community. In addition to Dr. Willams, this year’s workshop will feature bass trombonist Chris Bassett of the Saint Louis Symphony, Robyn Smyth, principal trombone with the Chicago Sinfonietta, legendary recording artist Jim Pugh, and local favorites the Capitol Bones among many others. I will be hanging around the exhibition hall throughout the conference with my colleagues from Long Island Brass, Shires, and Morning Star Mutes. Hope to see you there!
